My crafty little Tassel Tie Bunting make thanks to Clobbr.
I may be a self confessed hoarder, but I’m not one to turn down more stuff! Elaine of Clobbr got in touch to say that she had a range of yarns and fabric that she wasn’t going to use, so did I want them. Clobbr is all about upcycling, and improving our impact on our planet one step at a time. So I thought I’d have a go at making use of what I have with this Tassel Tie Bunting.
It felt fitting that I use the yarns that were gifted to make something as a bit of a reminder of how beautiful they all are. I’ve still got lots left and they’re currently being made into a blanket but this little make is a perfect lock down project.
I thought that I’d share how it ended up, it’s super simple and you can find the complete pattern and instructions in the book Crochet by Super+Super, Amy Phipps and Claire Culley. It’s called Tassel Tie Bunting.
Luckily, during lock down – the weather has been pretty amazing and this make is perfect to brighten up a little space in the garden. It’s equally gorgeous inside and would look super cute anywhere that catches a bit of light, especially as I used some gold Rico Designs lame that I already had! It was one of the mega hot days that I took the photos and the garden was looking very wild, yet very lovely.
I hope you’re managing to carry on the crafting, even with the shopping thing not being as easy as usual. Take a look at what you’ve already got, get out those craft books that you’ve been hoarding and see what you can come up with, without even leaving the house!
