Beautiful Pom-poms made easy with Clover!

My new favourite gadgets

My new favourite gadgets are the range of Pom-pom makers by Clover. It’s so easy to make beautiful pom-poms with these little babies.

As you know, I love a pom-pom. I love to make them and I love to teach others how to make them at my Pom-pom parties. In the years that I’ve been making these little fluff balls, I can’t begin to tell you how many makers I must have gone through. This week I’m using brand new Pom-pom makers by Clover.

Most commercially produced pom-pom makers are made entirely of plastic. They’ve been used to make hundreds of pompoms over the years and after a while they tend to weaken and snap. Over on Instagram there’s a lovely community of crafters of all kinds, including those that pom-pom! I’d been recommended to try the Clover pom-pom makers by the mega talented Jess of Fat Pom Poms

Imagine my excitement when the lovely people at Clover sent me some of the makers to try! Making Pom-poms is the perfect craft for all ages. It’s easy to learn and they’re so adaptable. Grab a glue gun and they can be attached to pretty much anything!

I’m so happy to find makers that create such teeny tiny and such humongous pom-poms!

The Clover pom-pom makers are chunkier than other makers that I’ve used before and work in pretty much the same way. If you need a hand with exactly how to use them then just check out the simple instructions on the back of the packaging!

I’m using the pom-pom makers to create more stock for my space in Arttopia. A ‘must visit’ shop, just a stone’s throw from the beach in Cleethorpes. I’m lucky enough to be one of the 30+ artists who has a space of their own in this quirky gift shop.

I use my new pom-pom makers to make the fluff balls that I attach to pencils, pens, key rings and so much more! I even have customers who buy pretty patterned pom-poms just to admire and display in a bowl!

Watch this space to see what I turn the giant pom-poms in to. They’ll be on display on my Magic pom-pom tree in Arttopia very soon!

I’m so happy with my new Clover pom-pom makers that I’m going to share the love and give you the chance to win a set of your own. Visit my Instagram or Facebook page to find full details! One lucky winner will receive 3 packs of Clover Pom-pom makers and a copy of Pommania by Christine Leech (the guru of pompoms)
